Story
Animated Feature Film | Adventure • Comedy • Music • Fantasy | In Development Target Audience: 8–12 | Approx. 90 min
When a teenager desperate to escape his ordinary life is pulled through his computer into a parallel world, he becomes the unlikely leader of a chaotic band of musicians transformed into animals — and must lead them through a spectacular music competition that could give his new friends their only chance to become human again and return home.
STORY
Alex has always dreamed of an exciting life. Unfortunately, nothing ever seems to work out for him. But one night, his computer opens a mysterious portal and suddenly the adventure he’s been waiting for becomes real.
Thrown into a strange parallel world, Alex meets a group of musicians who arrived there from the human world before him. Unlike Alex, they were transformed into animals — perhaps for a reason. Talented but selfish, arrogant and constantly at odds, they begin to believe that becoming better versions of themselves may be the key to becoming human again.
Alex remains human and, much to everyone’s surprise, becomes their leader.
Then the Commander, a powerful technology magnate who leads this world, announces a spectacular music competition for his only daughter, Stella.
Alex sees an opportunity. He brings the musicians together as Animal Bands and enters the competition.
There’s only one problem: Alex can’t sing.
His crazy new friends decide to teach him. In return, Alex must somehow teach them to listen, trust one another and finally play as a team.
Their road to the final is anything but smooth — packed with outrageous rival bands, comic disasters and the endless tricks of Rumpel, the Commander’s mischievous and not-so-friendly servant.
Meanwhile, Professor Albert, the Commander’s scientific adviser, and his assistant Henry are experimenting with a portal-time machine that may hold the secret to sending everyone home.
As Alex grows closer to Stella, he finally finds the adventure and friendship he once dreamed of.
But when his friends’ hopes of becoming human again are put at risk, Alex makes a choice his old self never would have made.
This time, he isn’t chasing his own dream.
He’s fighting to make theirs come true.
